Catherine Briggs
Catherine Briggs is a multidisciplinary artist with a concentration in abstract mixed media painting. Catherine's approach to art-making often involves a playful exploration of color and form, akin to "observing what you see in passing clouds." With a B.A. in Visual and Public Art, she is dedicated to fostering platforms for local artists and connecting communities through the power of creative expression. With a background in building community partnerships as a founder of local gallery IAMA's SF artist exhibitions, and supporting local talent as a volunteer and one-act play producer at MidPen Media Center, her enthusiasm for public art and bringing creative experiences to others remains a driving force.
